Do you have 5 or 6 pairs of FR socks rolling around in your gear bag? Do they look like an overused golf glove? Time for an upgrade!
I know, it’s not as sexy as a new carbon fiber helmet. But a critical piece of kit, never the less. While casually perusing the trackside retailer at Sebring, I ran across these babies:
They are a revelation. First- they actually fit. No more of this ‘one size fits all’ BS. My shoe size is 9. Every pair of socks I’ve purchased up to this point would fit Zion Williamson. After one use they stretch out into odd shapes and won’t stay put. They bunch up in the footbed and are generally irritating.
Not the OMPs. These smalls fit perfectly. Snug to get on, they retain their shape and are not too tall.
They are made of Lenzing, the FR fiber being used for baselayers and to line racesuits. It is very soft and comfortable.
The One socks are double layer in the toe and footbed and single layer elsewhere. This design maintains durability while retaining comfort and breathability.
They feel like a pair of high end athletic socks. A huge improvement over the 20 or so previous pairs I’ve tried that wear like a cheap dress sock.
Pick up two pairs. Your feet will thank you.
